Euwyn Poon, Partner. Euwyn is an investor, lawyer, and software engineer. He previously co-founded Roomorama, one of the first vacation rental startups, and Opzi, a startup funded by Y Combinator (S10), SV Angel, First Round Capital and other top-tier Silicon Valley investors that became the First Round Network. Prior to startups, he was an M&A attorney at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, LLP in New York City. Euwyn earned a BA in computer science from Cornell University and a JD from Cornell Law School.
Wilkins Chung, Partner. Wilkins previously founded A Thinking Ape (ATA), an award-winning mobile games company based in Vancouver with multiple top-grossing RPG titles. Its flagship title, Kingdoms at War, peaked as the #1 top-grossing US RPG game on iTunes and remains on the top-grossing iTunes and Google Play charts. Prior to ATA, he was a software development manager at Amazon focusing on scalability solutions and built the software platform that would later become AWS. Wilkins graduated from University of Waterloo in Computer Engineering.
Teck Chia, Partner. Teck is an active investor in startups including Uber, Snapchat, Postmates, Kraken, and Kite. He was previously a Product Manager at Facebook, where he led the team that created the Mobile App Install Ads product. He joined Facebook via acquisition of his startup, OpenAppMkt, at the time the largest independent app store for mobile HTML5 apps. Prior, he launched Gabbly, a chat app that reached over 70M users. He started his career as a member of technical staff at Oracle. Teck holds a BSc. and MEng. degrees in Computer Science with a minor in Cognitive Science from Cornell University.
Holly Liu, Advisor. Holly is the co-founder and Chief Development Officer of Kabam, a leading global mobile gaming company that received a $120M investment from Alibaba in 2014. Named by Forbes as one of the Top 10 Women Entrepreneurs to Watch, she grew Kabam's revenue from zero to $360M in four years. She is currently focused on setting up the international presence of Kabam, starting with China. Previously, she was in charge of the People function at Kabam and grew the company over 500% in 3 years. Holly also led product design for the Kingdoms of Camelot franchise that grossed over $250M in lifetime revenue. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, she was a product designer for the Community products at AOL. She earned a BA in Communications from UCLA and a Masters in Information Management & Systems from UC Berkeley.
